About Us
Phoenix Republic is a resource and project for citizens who are looking for more than just a place to vent their dissatisfaction with the state of this country for the past half a century. We are a privately-run "grassroots" organization which seeks to place people in touch with each other and with important individuals in order to jam the gears of the current administration and stand behind other defenders of liberty.
We are people who still cringe at the sight of political and personal injustice, refuse to take the belief that a non-stance or an apathetic attitude is healthy for a society, and- culturally- still have a touch of class and wish for beauty in the arts and in our lives. Above all, we adhere to the idea that all individuals have a right to exist without being called upon to "serve" others. Humanity is not a slave pen, and the most selfless thing you can do is to let other persons alone.
This website seeks to provide you with the means of contacting others who wish to revive libery for their moral support or to help strengthen your battle against injustice.
Our current goal is to rally enough citizens together to legally challenge the Obama health care bill if it passes.
Only when people band together can they be strong enough to overcome injustice.
Our members are fine, dedicated persons of all types who are looking for the rebirth of liberty, morality, and philosophy.
We are tired of the cynical notions that mankind is evil and therefore nothing should be done about problems. We are sick of thinking that we are the only ones who can hear the death-knell of America. We will no longer stand quiet when we see our brothers and sisters being abused by dangerous and irrational government policies. We will no longer be quiet.
History of the Phoenix project
The Phoenix Republic was created in a fit of fury on December 19th, 2009, in response to the vile health care mandate that is about to be passed. This mandate, only one of many issues we will be dedicated to, explicitly states that it will heavily fine or jail those who refuse to buy health insurance. This website was created to make sure that this mandate, and any and all other unconstitutional mandates, goes unpassed or heavily challenged.
Perhaps it is because this site was created in close proximity to Christmas that spurred to the creator's mind thoughts of Scrooge-like behavior on the part of the US Goverment: Charles Dickens once wrote of poor persons being sent to debtors' prison for being unable to pay off bills- has this attitude and practice come to the United States?
We must stand with our brethren against the injustice of this administration, and forbid another age of poverty and political abuse in the western world.
